2026 has been an extraordinary year. AI has entered companies in a real way, and it is changing almost every industry.
Joji has worked with AI since ChatGPT first arrived, testing what it could and could not do. In January this year we went all in on research and development, and we have followed AI’s progress closely all through 2026.
Only in the past one to two months, we reached a point we did not expect this year: AI can now do much of the work of graphic and web design, at a level it simply could not in the first half of 2026.
That can only mean one thing. More people can now get professional, high quality design done at a fraction of the cost. And that is what Joji is out there doing: bringing professional design to everyone, at prices more affordable than ever before.
Websites are the clearest example. A 5 to 12 page website used to cost S$2,500 at Joji. Earlier this year we brought it down to S$1,000. Today it is S$300. Turnaround went from one to two months, to one week, and now we can deliver a website on the same day, if all the content and photos are ready.
Print has changed too. The newest AI image technology, released only in the past month or two, can now produce images at print resolution. Just two to three months ago that was not possible, and upscaling a lower quality AI image to print quality was a very difficult problem. Today it is solved.
Classical professional design isn’t dead just yet. There are things AI still cannot produce reliably, and there is the matter of taste and aesthetics, and of interpreting a company’s identity, where AI often fails.
When we designed the wall panels for a client’s booth at an international trade show, it was still more reliable, and more in control, to design those huge walls the classical way in Adobe Illustrator. AI helped with a small part of the work, no more than 10% of that project.
So we revamped our pricing to reflect these new realities, and the new ways we can now make design. You choose how your design is made:
- AI Powered Design: AI does 50–80% of the design work. A logo from S$50, a flyer from S$50.
- AI Powered Design + Print Ready File: the same design, plus the file a printer can use.
- Professional Classical Design: professional design work, with AI helping underneath.
